Veterinary Assistant

Morgan C.

Morgan studied Biology at Sonoma State University. She went to a Veterinary Assistant program through Health Occupations Center in San Diego. She was a Veterinary Assistant for 8 years at a mixed practice- prior hospital was at a cats and dogs only for a year. Morgan has always had a love for wildlife, especially birds. Her goals for the future are to become an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician), and wildlife rehab (especially for raptors) would be an amazing dream to fulfill. She is currently in the Penn Foster Program (was given scholarship for select 100 Thrive Pet employees across the US). She enjoys educating clients on their pets to help give them a better and enjoyable life. There are species here at CBEAM she has never seen in CA and so she is excited to expand her knowledge even further. When not at work she tends to her child (a 3 + ¼ leg Ragdoll, named Billi). She is new to WA, so she is looking forward to being outside more, especially camping and seeing what WA has to offer in the great unknown.
