Jennifer has 3 years of experience working as a lead at a parrot sanctuary which specialized in macaws, amazons, and African grays. She also spent several years volunteering in rescue with rabbits, cockatoos, reptiles, and large cats. She is currently in Dental Hygiene school to serve people, but finds that the balance of working in a clinical setting with both exotics part-time and people part-time has been extremely fulfilling. She loves birding and herping during her free time. Her beloved current and former pets include a Senegal parrot, African gray, sun conure, ball python, rabbit, gerbils, hamsters, bearded dragons, and African dwarf frogs.
