Dr. Elizabeth Hyde
Dr. Elizabeth Hyde is originally from Huntersville, NC. She started her path to veterinary medicine through work at a local bird of prey rehabilitation center. Dr. Hyde attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated in 2013 with a degree in Animal Sciences with minors in zoology and nutrition. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal rotating internship with a focus in exotics at Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and an exotics-focused internship with Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She maintains active memberships in multiple veterinary organizations (AAV, ARAV, AEMV, AAFV, AAZV, WATCVM, IVAPM and AVMA). She is currently serving as a board member for the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians as both a member-at-large and co-fundraising chair. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (CVA) and Fear Free™ veterinarian. She currently shares her home with her fiancé, cat, and leopard gecko.
